Betty Landwehr

A Mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Landwehr will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 2, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Enid, OK, with Rev. Mark Mason officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A Life Celebration Home. A family visitation from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m., will be held at Brown-Cummings.

Betty was born August 18, 1941, in Okeene, OK, to August T. and Rose Mary (Eisterholtz) Lollman. She passed from this life on November 28, 2023.

Betty graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic School in Okeene in 1959, and Enid Business College in 1960. She was employed at George E. Failing Company from 1961 to 1973. She then worked at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church from 1984 until 2014, when she retired after 30 years of service.

On August 8, 1969, she married David Landwehr in Enid, OK, and they made their home in Waukomis, OK. Their daughter Laurie Rosanne was born on November 28, 1973.

Betty had been a member of the Altar Society and a minister of the Eucharist since 2000. Her hobbies were reading, journaling, gardening, tending her houseplants, and crocheting.

Betty is survived by her husband David; sisters Dorothy Roach of Okeene, OK, and Patty Walker of Friendship, MD; and nieces and nephews Eugene Lollman, John Lollman, Mike Lollman, Theresa Bryant, Denise Henthorn, Patty Smith, Eugene Roach, Jr., Tim Gragert, Kevin Gragert, Carole Walker, and Melisa Walker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Laurie, brother William Lollman, sister Louise Gragert, nieces Kathy Oberst and Jane Marie Roach and nephew, Paul Lollman.

Memorials may be made to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Enid, or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital with the funeral home acting as custodian of the funds.
