Daniel Shutler

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Daniel Jay Shutler, 61, of Enid, are pending under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.

Daniel was born July 28, 1964, to Ronald and Yvonne (King) Shutler in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life May 13, 2026, in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Enid. He enjoyed listening to music, playing guitar, working in his garden, spending time with friends and family, making people laugh, watching wrestling, taking in and caring for stray cats, most of all he loved his kids with his whole heart. One of his favorite quotes was “It’s Five O’ Clock somewhere”.

He is survived by his children Cody Mather, of Cherokee, Oklahoma, Jessica Beller, of Sergent Bluff, Iowa, and Rayn-Boe Shutler, of New Hartford, New York; three grandchildren; his siblings, Michael Shutler, David Shutler, Rhonda Wilson, and Steven Shutler, all of Enid, and Timothy and Thomas Edwards, of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Yvonne Shutler, one son Mitchell Pyles; and one daughter, Ashley Shutler.
