The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Deborah Kay “Debbie” Stroike, 76, of Hunter will be held privately. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.
Debbie was born September 4, 1947, to Henry and Betty Webster Kellogg in Quincy, Illinois and passed from this life June 25, 2024, in Hunter, Oklahoma.
She was raised and educated in Quincy, Illinois. She married Larry Stroike August 31, 1968, in Quincy, Illinois. The couple moved various places throughout the Mid-West following her husband’s career. She went to Cosmetology school and worked as a cosmetologist for over forty years in her salon at her home. She also cared for individuals at Billing Fairchild center catering to their hair and daily care needs. She had a heart for caring for others. She enjoyed sewing, making wreaths, crafting, cooking and absolutely loved spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband Larry Stroike, of the home; son Greg Stroike, of Hunter, Oklahoma, daughter Beth Johndrow and husband Justin, of Flagstaff, Arizona; four grandchildren, Drake and Randi and Kendell Foster and Krista and Lauren Johndrow; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
