Denise Krausse

The Memorial services celebrating and horning the life of Denise (Woosdon) Krausse, 89, of Enid, will be held privately. Complete cremation care is under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.

Denise was born May 2, 1937, in Douglas, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, in Enid, Oklahoma at Baptist Village. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and devotion to her family.

Denise grew up in Douglas and loved softball and basketball. She enjoyed a distinguished career in interior decorating, earning Ethan Allen’s highest national award for exceptional talent.

She is survived by her daughters, Kim Pendergraft (Mark) and Karla Shields (Mark); grandchildren, Chase (Tiffany), Colton (KaiLea), Lindsay and Natalie and great-children, Nicholas, Conner, Sofia, Jackson and Stella. She also leaves behind a sister Dorene Ruth (Lonnie) and a wonderful “adopted” daughter, Kathy McClurg (Dennis) and their family, Matt, Patricia, Zeke, Tiago & Izzie.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stan Krausse.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
