Elisha Frye

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Elisha Frye, 62, of Enid, will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, July 2, 2026, in the Brown-Cummings Chapel. Burial will follow in the Breckenridge Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A Life Celebration Home.

Elisha was born March 19, 1962, to Sheldon and Marilyn (Clark) Culver in Pratt, Kansas, and passed from this life June 28, 2026, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Pratt until moving to Chelsea, Oklahoma, in 1970, and Enid in 1979 where she graduated from Enid High School with the class of 1980.

She married David Frye in 1979, and five children came from this union. The couple divorced in 1987 and re-married May 25, 2019. She worked as a Key Holder at Dollar General, then as a cashier at K-Mart for a time and Roxie’s Auto Detail shop and then at Highland Park Manor as a Dietitian until becoming permanently disabled in 2006. Her main focus was always her family.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, fishing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and Bingo, and watching dirt track racing. She collected sea horses and anything Tinkerbell.

She is survived by her husband David Frye; her children, David Frye and wife Vanessa, Larry Frye, Bobby Frye and wife Misty, Candie Southern and husband Michael, Tahsha Littleton and husband Justin; twenty-three grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and siblings, Janet Frye, Dena Sinclair and Carlotta Liska.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings.
