He loved his grandchildren dearly and they lovingly called him “Grumpy”

He is survived by his wife Sharon Scott, of the home, his children Tana Flores, and her four children and Tessa Goode and her two children; two stepsons, Chance Michael Cecil and his two children, Hank Michael Cecil and Greighli Cal Cecil, and Taylor H. Cecil; and one sister Holly Johnson and husband Joe and their two children, Amy and husband Val Castor, as well as Lyndsey and her husband Brett Lowry.

He was preceded in death by his father Jewett Stephen Scott, mother Twila Arms Scott, and brother Stephen Mayo Scott.
