The memorial services celebrating and honoring the life of Justin Craparotta, 45, of Enid, will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday July 7, 2025 at the First Assembly of God with Pastor Jarrod Cloud officiating. Complete cremation care and services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.

Justin was born September 7, 1979, to Gerald “Crappy” Craparotta and Charlotte Davied Pittman in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life June 30, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He began attending elementary school at Chisholm Elementary, moving to Cleveland Elementary and then attending Pioneer schools where he graduated with the class of 1998. While in high school he began working in the family restaurant, Louisa’s, working his way up to line chef. He was an honor student, played trombone in the band, and played football. In his Junior and Senior years, as starting center, his football team won the Class B 8-Man Oklahoma State Championship. After graduating he went on to attend college at Northern Oklahoma College where he achieved his associate degree. He continued on to attend classes studying hotel and restaurant management at Oklahoma State University. While living in Stillwater he worked at Joseppi’s Italian Kitchen as the Kitchen Manager. He returned to Enid in 2006 where he worked at the family business, Crappy’s Warehouse. He also began working as a chef alongside Eddie Costello of Costello’s Continental Cuisine. He later moved on to be a chef at On the Sidewalk Bar and Grill. In 2016 he moved to McAlister, Oklahoma where he assisted his college roommate at The Compass Restaurant as the General Manager. He then moved back to Enid and worked his way up to the Executive Chef at The Stride Center, ending his career in December 2023. He loved the service industry and gave his all in everything he did.

He was a 32nd degree Mason in Lodge 501 and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

He is survived by his father, Gerald “Crappy” Craparotta and stepmother Judy, of Enid, his mother Charlotte Pittman, of Vinita, OK, one brother Jason Craparotta and wife Kelley of Enid, OK, one sister Jennifer Rasmussen and husband Josh, of Aurora, CO; four nieces, Chloe, Paige, Arabella, and Siena; and two nephews Chase and Luke.

He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents, his stepfather, Richard “Cortie” Pittman, one sister, Brooke Pittman, and many aunts and uncles.

Memorials may be made in his honor to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
