The memorial services celebrating the life of Kendra Diane Livesay Smith will be held 5:00 P.M. Friday March 13, 2026 in the Coolidge Elementary gymnasium with a reception to follow, ending at 7:00 P.M. Services will be livestreamed via the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Facebook page at the time of the service.

Kendra Diane Livesay Smith, 52, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 in Enid, Oklahoma. The daughter of Darrel and Susan (Reeder) Livesay, Kendra was born October 30, 1973 in Amarillo, Texas. She was raised in Guymon, attending the Guymon school system graduating with the Class of 1992. Kendra then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and Panhandle State University, earning her bachelor degree in elementary education. Kendra was a devoted educator with Enid Public Schools, currently teaching at Coolidge Elementary as a first-grade teacher. She also served at Leonardo's Children's Museum in their Discovery After-School and Discovery Camp programs. Her love and encouragement for students has made an impact in so many lives and her legacy and love will live on in all that she has touched. In addition to her love for elementary education, Kendra loved dance and teaching it to others. Her kindness, encouraging words and loving smile will continue to be a bright light for others. Those left to mourn her great loss are her three beloved children: Kale Smith and wife, Chelsi of Enid; Lane Smith of Oklahoma City and Emily Smith of Edmond; her two cherished granddaughters, Hayden Rae and Hadleigh Jean Smith; her parents, Darrel and Susan Livesay of Guymon; her sister, Kylee Corder and husband, Austin of Parker, CO; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends and students. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jean and Bob Reeder and Dolores and Dean Livesay.

Memorials in memory of Kendra can be made to Leonardo‘s Children’s Museum in Enid.
