Linda was born February 27, 1954 to Denver Dale and Juanita Fern McMullen McDonald in Liberal, Kansas and passed from this life July 20, 2025 in Enid, Oklahoma.
She held many jobs, but the ones closest to her heart were those spend working alongside her family. As a teenager she proudly worked with her Daddy in road construction; later in life she drove a semi-truck with her son Joey, then ran the Fruity Rooster with her daughter Brandy, and also worked with her son DeWayne at Punch Lock before retiring. But her passion was working in home health.
She loved so much about life but her heart belonged to the outdoors. She loved the farm, the animals, and helpin with th babies, the bulls… not so much! She had many animals, pot belly pig, horses, and she claimed to have owned the most stubborn male goat, that held her hostage in her car for hours until Paul got home to save her. She enjoyed fishing, camping, Pond Creek garden, vacationing, watching Gunsmoke, sitting on the porch watching humming birds, driving out spending hours watching the eagles nest while enjoying a Braum’s ice cream, and hanging out with nieces and nephews, but what she lived for the most was her grandkids.
She is survived by her sons, Dewayne Cantellay and wife Rita, and Joey Cantellay and wife Angela; ten grandchildren and their spouses, Trevin and Amanda McDonald, Stormie and Michael Stone, Trayton McDonald, Jerry Green, Ashlyn Rogers, Chase, Zoey, Evy, Tristen, and Tanner Cantellay; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Arthur McDonald; one sister, Judy Jones and husband Wayne, and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two husbands Joe Cantellay and Paul Jones; her daughter, Brandy Rogers, and her parents Denver and Juanita McDonald, one sister Dianna Bennett .
