Marshall Frazier

August 8, 1943 — January 16, 2021

The services celebrating them honoring the life of Marshall Frazier Jr., 77, of Lahoma, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021, in the Hayward Cemetery, with U.S. Army Chaplin Jae Y. Chang officiating. Military honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force Silver Talon Honor Guard. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

He was born to Marshall Frazier Sr. and Loucindy Buffinton Frazier August 8, 1943, in Vinita, Oklahoma, and passed from this life January 16, 2021, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Marshall was raised and educated in Perry, Oklahoma, graduating from Perry High School with the class of 1962. He honorably served his country 33 years in the United States Army National Guard. He married Sandra Clark November 22, 1963, in Enid, Oklahoma.  At the age of 19, he began working for the Vance Air Force Base Fire Department and retired in 2005, after 43 years of service, as the Assistant Fire Chief. He was an avid deer hunter and collected knives.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sandra, of the home; children, Kimberly (Phillip) Gullat, of Seminole, OK, Katrina (John) Sandifer, of Asher, OK, Sage Frazier, of Norman, OK, Noelle Frazier, of Norman, OK; grandchildren Tymalie Crawford, Marshall Gullat, Kaegan Sandifer, America Sandifer and Victoria; two great-grandchildren, Rylee and Kaylee Crawford; and one brother, Jerry (Gwen) Frazier, of Denton, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Gloria Jean Frazier.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the Alzheimer’s Association, in lieu of flowers, with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
