The services celebrating and honoring the life of Mattie Elizabeth White, 84, of Enid, will be held 9:30 A.M. Friday May 30, 2025, in the Emmanuel Chapel with Pastor Shon Keels officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings, A life celebration home.

Mattie was born August 13, 1940, to Allie and Edith K. Ellis Rollins in Wickliffe, Kentucky and passed from this life May 24, 2025, in Enid, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Wickliffe, Kentucky graduating from Ballard Memorial High School in 1958. She began working at Prudential and moved to Paducah, Kentucky, Dallas, Texas, and Nashville, Tennessee, where she continued her career with Prudential. She married William L. White April 21, 1962, in Paducah, from this union came two sons, Brian and Kevin. The family moved to Enid in 1975. She was long time member of Emmanuel Enid where she volunteered for over thirty-five years teaching kindergarten Sunday school and in various other places to serve. She enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint, crossword puzzles, gardening, and was an avid reader.

She is survived by her sons Brian White and his wife Robyn, of Enid and Kevin White and his wife Tricia, of Yukon, one granddaughter, Brooke White, of Enid.

She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Bill White.
