Although our hearts are saddened, we wish to celebrate the life of our cherished loved one.

Michael A. Aguilar, known to most of us as “Mike” was born to Julio and Betty Aguilar September 13, 1954, in Kansas City, Kansas and passed from this life September 17, 2026, in Enid Oklahoma.

He was raised in Twenty-Nine Palms, California, and later traveled across the country and Canada as an Over the Road Truck Driver. For twenty-plus years, due to the many illnesses he had, Mike had been confined to his home with the care of his family and Dr. Daniel Washburn.

We are grateful to God as his time to leave this life was completed, he simply went to sleep.

He is survived by his wife Norma, his five daughters, Melissa (Brian), Weeper “Wendy” (Aaron), Angela (LeRoy), Anna(Chris), and Stormy (Juan); many grandchildren and many great grandchildren; to whom he was often referred to as Grandpa or Papa; his sister Gail, and his brother Brian, and numerous nieces and nephews who simply referred to him as Their Favorite “ Uncle Mike”.

He is preceded in death by his loving son, Julio; his parents; Betty and Julio Aguilar; three sisters, Pat, Brenda, and Marie; and one brother Chris.

Mike had a wonderful sense of humor, his laughter was contagious, although somewhat misguided, it infected us all.

He enjoyed Truck Driving, OU football, and going to church on Sundays; he was comfortable talking with everyone, and he loved his family.

If he could make you laugh, he was having a good day!

Condolences and special memories may be shared with the family online at WWW.BrownCummings.com.
