Vicki Garber

The Memorial Services celebrating and honoring the life of Vicki Garber, 80, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Enid, will be held privately.

Vicki was born November 20, 1945, to Martin and Theresa Thompson Garber, in Enid, Oklahoma and passed from this life May 5, 2026, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was raised and educated in Enid and Bethesda Maryland while her father worked for President Eisenhower. She was a graduate of Phillips University of Enid, OK.

She was married to Bruce Miller and Jere Sturgis and had two children, “Buzz” and Andrea Garber Golgart. She was a member of Enid and Oklahoma City PEO chapters. She enjoyed gardening and spending time at the family cottage in Minnesota.

She is survived by one daughter, Andrea Golgart and husband Dale Golgart, of Arcadia; two grandchildren; and one brother, Martin Garber Jr. and his wife Karen Crosslin Garber, of Bartlesville.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bruce “Buzz” Garber Sturgis; her parents, Martin and Theresa Garber; and one sister, Patti Garber McKay.

Memorials may be made in her honor to Enid High School or the Mansion at Waterford, Oklahoma City, an assisted living center, with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
