The services celebrating and honoring the life of William Frank “Bill” Larkin, 99, of Enid, will be held privately under the direction of Bronw-Cummings, A life celebration home.
Bill was born to Walter Frank and Cora Mae Spalding Larkin November 9, 1925, in Sabetha, Kansas and passed from this life November 22, 2024, in Enid, Oklahoma.
He was raised and educated in Falls City, Nebraska. After his formal education he honorably served in the United States Navy. He married Carol Skinner May 10, 1970, in Enid, Oklahoma. The couple moved to Sallisaw where they managed a trailer park. In 1973 they moved to Hot Springs, Arkansas and then to Wright, Oklahoma and was a Boiler Operator. In 1980 they returned Enid, Oklahoma where they made their home. He then worked as a maintenance supervisor for apartment complexes, and later at Sterling Equipment building trailers, retiring in 1996. He enjoyed going to scrap metal.
He is survived by his son Walter Larkin and wife Shari, of Enid and his stepchildren, Kay McReynolds, of Enid and Ricky McReynolds, of Kodak, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Larkin and his parents.
